No running windows found

First off I had a problem with ownership, I could startx as root but not as a normal user, but I think I got that fixed.

Second I started x as my normal user and I have ~/.fluxbox/keys binded for certain things and one of them is firefox and xmms. But I can hit the keys ive had assigned for firefox and my cpu usage goes up to like 70% then as quick as it went up it goes down to 2%. But if I startx as root it doesnt do this (firefox starts right up).

And ive checked the ownership of my .fluxbox folder and my normal user owns it.

Also I can start firefox from command line and while its comming up it spits this line out at me: Error: No running window found

But I also have two key binded to start a terminal and they work (seems like its just the programs that are graphical).

Anyone got an clue? Ive search here and justlinux for the answer but aint been able to find an answer either place.
