I can't get my wireless card to connect when using amd64 port. When I'm on i386 everything works fine. Anyone have ipw3945 working on amd64 port?
Something you should consider if you are able to download iso's is sidux64, I don't
have the link but it should be in distrowatch or their website www.sidux.com
I have a 64bit AMD Desktop, I do not use the 64bit operating system simply because of the problems that I have had with it using other distros but Sidux has a lot of help in their forums, their IRC channel, I would think if anyone could make it work they can.
Hope this helps.
Distribution: Debian etch/lenny/sid, Fedora 7/Rawhide, CentOS 4/5, FreeBSD 6.2 and Solaris 10/Nevada

Sidux wont boot on my laptop Its a newer Dell 1420 and has a handful of Linux problems. The only one out of a lot that will work is Lenny i386, as far as both network interfaces, dvd drive and sound card.
I do, I know what needs to be installed, I can do it on i386 version, just not amd64. The networkmanager applet just spins around and around and ask for key over and over.
Seems to be a bug, but I don't see any glaring errors of why.
