kdm problem after dist-upgrade

I've done a dist-upgrade to the new r3 release of sarge and now have a minor problem with kdm. The pictures originally assigned to each user in the kdm panel have been re-assigned or changed to silhouette. I went into the KDE control panel to change them back in the usual manner but although the correct pictures are now shown in the user manager window they haven't changed back in the log-in screen (even after a reboot).
Has anyone had a similar experience and does anyone know what can I do about it?

I thought that there was a kdm option to 'use user photo' somewhere in the kdm configurationn control panel.

That sorted it!

I had originally set the user images in Control Centre - Password and User Account - Change Your Face. It was this that wasn't working for me.

I found the option you mention in Control Centre - Login Manager -Administrator Mode - Users - User Image Source.

This worked OK. Many thanks.
