Question Is it advisable to use a flatpack to upgrade a program?

Hi All,
I'm considering using Flatpack to get the latest version of Evolution. I'm on Testing (Bookworm with MATE as a DE) with 3.46.4-1 and the Flatpack is 3,48 What's gonna break?
Thanks for the advice in advance.

do you really need 3.48? in that case use that. Theoretically it will not break anything.

Not sure yet, my Tiger reports aren't displaying but my log files will and they're much longer (Although I doubt either is close to 1 MB) But when I report an issue to the evolution list the first suggestion is upgrade so I figured I'd upgrade and see if it fixes the issue before I report it.
GMAIL works fine it's just local mail that's stuck on stupid. I'm just trying not to break Debian is all.

You can also get the source (3.48.0) at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution
And might make a Debian package before installing.
