Successfully downloaded entire .iso so the site is working fine..
It reports correctly in firefox, I menetioned that in an earlier post. It's in wget that it's not showing correctly.

Here's yet another weird twist. I'm using sarge on this old server, the one that is now having this problem. I just installed etch on another computer and it's not having this issue. Wget can download the file just fine.

Is there an issue with older versions of wget and files that are over a certain size? The older one having the problem is 1.9.1 and the newer one that worked is 1.10.2. I'll have to get a new version of wget on the sarge server and see if that solves the problem.

The support for Sarge has ended, so it's logical you can't retrieve it Upgrade your system to Etch...

How does support for sarge being over relate to wget not working properly?

I'm not sure I follow.

I just installed wget version 1.11.1 from source and it's working just fine.

Here's that start of my output for this file.
http://saimei.acc.umu.se/debian-cd/4...i386-DVD-1.iso

Code:
--2008-04-07 15:46:55--  http://saimei.acc.umu.se/debian-cd/4.0_r3/i386/iso-dvd/debian-40r3-i386-DVD-1.iso
Resolving saimei.acc.umu.se... 130.239.18.138, 2001:6b0:e:2018::138
Connecting to saimei.acc.umu.se|130.239.18.138|:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: 4689629184 (4.4G) [application/octet-stream]
Saving to: `debian-40r3-i386-DVD-1.iso'

 0% [                                                                                                        ] 1,615,359    159K/s  eta 8h 16m
It's now showing the full 4.4GB. That must be a problem with older versions of wget, large file size. But my question is how did I use it in the past and now it doesn't work?
