As per the following quote, I tried to install guarddog, but I am unable to locate a quarddog file or begin to configure it.

What am I supposed to do next?

I would try starting up guarddog from the menu. enter your root password and configure it. I think it's basically saying you haven't started guarddog yet.

pljvaldez;

Thanks; that's the ticket.

I had looked in my menu, but I was expecting it to jump out at me. It's in the sub-menu "Settings" on my KDE 3.5 setup.

I spent a lot of time trying to find it from the console... now I know.

I tried to run tests on ShieldsUP but the server keeps timing out... I'll keep at it.

I also downloaded the "Leak Test" app to my desktop but I can't figure out which application to use to open and run it. Any suggestions?

Happy trails,

r00ster
