I'm new to gnome. I've got everything working (I think) but somehow one of my users (I have a couple for different purposes) doesn't have the four little versions of the desktop down in the corner. I don't know what it's called. I don't use more than one desktop, but I know it should be there and I want to know how it disappeared and how to get it back... Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks ahead of time.
I found it. You go to the panel you want to change - where you want the desktop thing - right click, click on "add to panel" and go down the list to the bottom to "workspace switcher". That adds a new "workspace switcher" to your panel. I apoligize to anyone reading this for wasting their time.
