Multiple Desktops in Gnome


I am a super n00b. Ok call me it cause well I am. But I know ive seen this before I KNOW i can change the backgrounds for each desktop but for some reason in Gnome ATM I cant find the setting I can change the back ground but its allways for ALL desktops. You can just ban me if this is to stupid.

actually, i havent seen this in gnome/kde simply cos i havent bothered. i have done it on other window managers like enlightenment where there were distinctions between "virtual desktops" and "multiple desktops".

In GNOME (at least in 2.2) you can only have one background for all desktops. In KDE you can have a different one for each.
