Hi have a digital camera (sansumg digimax 300).
And want to get pictures from this through the USB port as in windows.
somebody knows anything about that?
I swerd I read the instructions from the suggested site, but in the task associated to gphoto2 command, i cant get my cammera, it's not detected, but it is listed inside the /proc/bus/usb/devices file, then it's detected, but no mounted.
Help, I really need upload these pictures today evening!
I know that i had the same problem, and even if i don't like to use workaround, it was the only way for me to make it works...
Did you tried in root??
Here is what i do now:
get a shell
type "su" (and fill your password)
type "lsusb" just to see if your camera is recognized
type "gtkam" (if the cam is recognized, it should work...)
If it doesn't work, post the output...
I know that now i'm in the "camera" group (adduser <your_login> camera), but the only thing that changed is that now i can see if my camera is recognized even if i'm not logged as root... but gtkam still doesn't work...
This is the output.
