According to this (sort by "rss 32-bit"), both dwm and tinywm use less resources than Openbox (OB is near the bottom of the list). But perhaps you mean something else by "most efficient coded." What does that mean, exactly?

Just trying.... and testing.

Tinywm (fastest) < Openbox (optimum - best choice) < fluxbox (bloater) ... < kde

How is Fluxbox a bloater compared to Openbox? According to the website linked:
Code:
         size rss vsize
         32-bit 32-bit 32-bit Libraries
Fluxbox: 1220 4792 8588 23
OpenBox: 3312 7780 11676 31

I have many years compared the two, and sincerely openbox is way much faster than fluxbox.

Openbox is fluid and keep the memory clean.
Fluxbox is still ok, but I believe that the themes screw the memory or makes sthg wrong.

I think that it would be better to compare blackbox and openbox, since blackbox is much more predictable on memory acting rather than fluxbox.
