While using Slackware I got used to having the terminal display different file types in different colors(directories in blue and binaries in green for example). Now that I've switched over to Debian I find that having everything in gray/white all of the time is not only hard on the eyes but almost hypnotic in a stupifying sort of manner.
How do I set up the terminal to display different file types as different colors?
