3c90x.o driver

After compiling, and trying loading the driver I've got the following error:

3c90x.o was compiled for kernel version 2.4.18 while this kernel is version 2.4.18-bf2.4.

....insmod /lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/net/3c90x.o failed.

what can I do?

Changing kernel version or nic or ??
Thank'

right so that driver version isn't compatible with the kerel you're on. find an alternative package or compile it from source.
