X subsystem?

Hi all

Just a quick one:

What X11 system does DSL run? I have looked everywhere and cant find whether its XFree86 or X.org.

I would like to install it on a little Acer Travelmate 300MHz P1 with 64mb RAM and want to know if it will be compatible with the display chip (Neomagix 2907).

Thanks!

check /etc/X11/ directory
XFree86 has XFree86config-4 (or similar file name) and X.org has X.org.config (or similar)

Also log file
/var/log/......
is different.

It was a plain joke.

DSL (DammSmallLinux or DSL modem)
************END OF JOKE**********

It is Debian derivative. Debian uses XFree86. This is all I know.

I know you can install XFree86 via the .dsl extension.
