damn small and mp3


okay im a new linus user and have used a couple of versions of linus but i hate that thing that comes up each time asking me what doi want to use linux or xp so i got rid of linux...now i found that live cd linuxs are the one for me for those rare ocassions what i want to use linux...with damnsmall when i burn it to disc on the same disc will i be able to install mp3s on the rest of the cd to make like a portable mp3 player for whatever computers i come across?

Yes.
You can either rebuild the ISO to include the mp3s, or burn it on a multisession disk (which may not boot on some machines)

I can only say how to do it with mkisofs

1) Mount the ISO somewhere. Example:

su
mkdir /mnt/dsl
mount -o loop /path/to/dsl-1.0rc1.iso /mnt/dsl
2) Copy the contents of /mnt/dsl to a writeable directory.
3) Add whatever you want to the directory structure.
4) Enter the /mnt/dsl directory and rebuild the ISO:

mkisofs -r -l -b KNOPPIX/boot.img -c KNOPPIX/boot.cat -o /path/to/new/isofile.iso ./
