Dell Latitude D620

Hey all,
I got the power supply for the Latitude on Saturday. Nice that it was early, but they didn't send me the one I ordered. However, the one they sent does work, so I'm not gonna complain. The bios does not recognize that a battery is installed, so I guess that is next on the list to purchase. I also want to eventually up the ram to 4GB and get a 1TB hard drive for it. Currently it has 1GB of ram and a 60GB hard drive. I went ahead and put Fedora 23 on it, and it seems to be running good. The only real problems I'm having at the moment are figuring out how to set file/folder sharing and getting it to see and be seen on the network. I ran ping in a terminal and it pinged the other three computers on the network, and they pinged it. It just won't show up in their network, and they won't show up in its. For a free laptop, I'm not going to complain about it.
