Posted 09-21-2013 at 05:42 PM by exton

The system is a remaster of upcoming Ubuntu 13.10 - codenamed "Saucy Salamander", not yet released. The original system includes the Desktop Environment Unity 7.1 (Ubuntu). I have replaced Unity with KDE 4.11.1, Gnome 3.8.4, Gnome Fallback (Classic) 3.8.4 and Razor-qt 0.5.2. Everyone can on the spot (during live operation) compare the different four Desktop Environments. The system language is ENGLISH.

Program content etc
Among many other programs LibreOffice, Thunderbird, Firefox, Brasero, Vlc, GParted, Gimp and win32 codecs. In addition, java, flash and all necessary additions in order to install programs from source. All programs have been updated to the latest available stable version as of September 21, 2013. See a complete list of all installed packages.

Used KERNEL
My special kernel 3.11.0-7-exton corresponding Kernel.org's stable kernel 3.11.
