Can't get ip for wireless interface through dhcpcd

Hi,
I'm using 4.18.14-arch1, and I bought a usb wireless Tp-link TL-WN821N.
I can't get an ip for wireless through dhcpcd. It outputs "sending commands to master dhcpcd process" and when I do ip link to check the interface state, is still:

Code:
wlp0s18f2u2: <NO-CARRIER,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP> mtu 1500 qdisc mq state DOWN mode DORMANT group default qlen 1000
    link/ether e6:20:6a:fe:05:04 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

The output of dmesg | grep usbcore is this:

Code:
[ 0.165989] usbcore: registered new interface driver usbfs
[ 0.165989] usbcore: registered new interface driver hub
[ 0.165989] usbcore: registered new device driver usb
[ 1.891025] usbcore: registered new interface driver usbserial_generic
[ 1.891364] usbcore: registered new interface driver usbhid
[ 2.473508] usbcore: registered new interface driver usb-storage
[ 2.475216] usbcore: registered new interface driver uas
[ 17.042689] usbcore: registered new interface driver rtl8xxxu
The output of dmesg | grep firmware is this:

Code:
[   11.138056] [drm] Found VCE firmware/feedback version 50.0.1 / 17!
[   15.035679] usb 1-2: rtl8xxxu: Loading firmware rtlwifi/rtl8192eu_nic.bin
The output of sudo dmesg | grep rtl8xxxu is:
Code:
[   15.035679] usb 1-2: rtl8xxxu: Loading firmware rtlwifi/rtl8192eu_nic.bin
[ 17.042689] usbcore: registered new interface driver rtl8xxxu
[   17.069775] rtl8xxxu 1-2:1.0 wlp0s18f2u2: renamed from wlan0
ip link is:
Code:
1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
    link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
2: enp3s0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UP mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
    link/ether e8:40:f2:0d:ef:37 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
3: wlp0s18f2u2: <NO-CARRIER,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP> mtu 1500 qdisc mq state DOWN mode DORMANT group default qlen 1000
    link/ether 76:a6:61:5a:03:ab brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
4: tun0: <POINTOPOINT,MULTICAST,NOARP,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 100
    link/none
Content of /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf:
Code:
ctrl_interface=/run/wpa_supplicant
ctrl_interface_group=sudo
update_config=1

ap_scan=1

country=PT

network={
	ssid="mynetwork"
	psk="mypassword"
}
I tried to connect manually
Code:
with wpa_supplicant -B -i wlp0s18f2u2 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
, but I get the following error message:

Code:
Successfully initialized wpa_supplicant
nl80211: deinit ifname=wlp0s18f2u2 disabled_11b_rates=0
wlp0s18f2u2: Failed to initialize driver interface
I honestly can't understand this error message. I know that nl80211 is a netlink interface, but I don't know how to read the output.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
