Running an executable on AIX server throws error
Hi All
We have an executable used to monitor CATIA user licenses status for usage alalysis. Recently, the executable has stopped working as it throws an error while I try to run it on AIX server (5.3L).
Snip of the error message for your reference :
<Snip>
svr01:root:/usr/opt/ifor/bin> I4blt
i4blt Version 4.6.8 AIX -- LUM Basic License Tool

</Snip>
'I4blt' is a symbolic link file as you can find it below :
<snip>
svr01:root:/usr/opt/ifor/bin> ls -l I4blt
lrwxrwxrwx 1 bin bin 33 Sep 18 2007 I4blt -> /usr/opt/ifor/ls/os/aix/bin/I4blt
</snip>
I verified the presence of JAVA and JRE by running the below command :
<snip>
svr01:root:/> java -version
java version "1.4.2"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2)
Classic VM (build 1.4.2, J2RE 1.4.2 IBM AIX build ca142-20050929a (SR3) (JIT enabled: jitc))
</snip>
The executable will open a pop-up window to display user license status.
Please let me know the ways to make this executable up and running.
Thanks in advance!
