how do I determine which disk has crashed

Hello there

First I would like to point out that I'm a complete AIX newbie and have run into a bit of trouble.

I have an old RS6000 J50 and 1 of the internal disks have crashed.

How do I find out which 1 it is.

It still boots up and allows me to login.

Any help would be great.

diag -a | more # should give a lot of info.
Another way :
lspv
then, for each volume group in lspv, do :
lsvg -p the_volume_group
and see wichich disks are missing

Yes I did in the end.
The internal disk was taken out and the machine is working fine now.
