How to determine which disk device is on which controller?

I have six SATA disks in my Ubuntu 5.04 system (2.6.11):

2 - on-board Silicon Image controller
2 - on-board nVidia controller (I think it's nVidia)
2 - Promise SATA controller card

They are assigned to /dev/sd[a-f]. I want to determine which drive is attached to which controller, since I'm not sure how the system has assigned them.

lspci isn't much help, at least as far as I can tell! Can someone tell me how to do this? Thanks :-)

fdisk -l has a lot of good info, but didn't help. However, I was able to cross-reference the codes in the 'device' symlinks under /sys/block/sd* with the output from lspci to determine which disk is on which controller. Thanks guys!
