Question

Hi, i can login into the aix server used in my company by doing telnet but all text gets scrambled (I'm sorry if some words are bad written, English is not my primary language).
We have wyse60 terminals but they are directly connected as tty and not by telnet, the windows clients use a software called anita and works perfect, in Linux i used the java version of it and it works just fine but needs a license, is there any way to make it work with something open source or at least free?

You can try putty. I use it and don't have any problems on any *nix platform I connect to and we run everything here.

tty is scrambled

I suspect that the problem is in termial definition. Check to see is the system was loaded with wyse 60 support at system generation time. (smit -> install or upgrade software) In the software install directory select list installed software. Scroll down to the terminal definitions. If the wyse 60 as a star next to it it was in stalled. Then all you have to do is the TERM=wyse60 export $TERM and you are all set.
