I only recently started using PostgreSQL, and this is my first time working with databases. I already have working triggers and functions in my schema. The documentation may need some improvement, but it was good enough for me to figure some things out on my own.

just being nitpicky but on the unix side doesnt ibm brand db2 as udb.

mysql is becoming a standard worldwide
probably because java has caused more problems to oracle than benefits
and php is definitivelly helping mysql and postgres market share
