am running ubuntu 9.10 and tried to upgrade to 10.04 but the upgrade failed, since then my wired connection won't work i can only access the Internet through the modem and in the network manager it only show wired connection 1 and last used is never.......
What part of the update had failed? My theory is that your kernel has been updated, and the new kernel doesn't have the modules of your ethernet card.
You should try to be more specific. What model of ethernet card have you got? What were the errors of the upgrade?
i ran the update again and it worked out fine,,,,,,like u said Rul my kernel had been updated and the new update didn't have modules of my ethernet card.......thanks
