where is the magnifier on latest ubuntu?

My friend is going blind. He had a magnifier on his last version of ubuntu. He could click in the middle of a text and it would enlarge. The latest ubuntu 7.0.04 (I think tht is what he said) doesn't respond to his right click. He doesn't know how to turn the magnifier on. Can you tell me so I can get the information to him?

From the main menu

System -> Accessibility -> Assistive Technology Preferences

Tick 'enable assistive technologies' and then you have options to enable the screen reader, magnifier or on screen keyboard
