Post Where do these names come from?!?

Ok I jus can't stand it anymore: Where do these strange codenames come from?
I know that one is a animal and another an adjative and they are in alphabetical order.
They just seem strange; oneric ocelot translated means 'Dreaming Cat) and I think that is a little strange. Do the names have any meaning or is a random button along with a few parameters hit on wikinary?
