A clear pointer that the problem is not with those 2 devices, but with something else in the vicinity of the laptop at home.

Well, now you know more: that these devices (laptop, headset) seem to be OKAY!

But, looks, that you still have a problem in your apartment
with the power connectors / cables / outlets there!
(the whole way, starting the port, where you plug your devices in, up to the sub-distribution)

This can be dangerous for YOU, too, please let this be fixed by an electrician.
(If it's not yours, may be your landlord / parents / janitor / ... can deal with this? Or can be "frist choice"?)

If you don't fix the cause, the next device you buy or another one may fail, too?

I just created an account to thank you kgsw.de for the tip regarding turning off the power safe feature. Speakers instantaneously stopped humming. I'm very grateful.
