Question Upgrading to hoary

Dear Gurus,
I am trying to upgrade to hoary using synaptic. Problem is I have an unreliable network connection (and unreliable electricity black outs) and there are tons of packages to download (200 Megs). Does synaptic support resume? What do I do?
