If you don't mind a LOT of "added extras" (bloat), I would say try PCLOS Full Monty.
It is KDE fully configured and is pretty impressive.
I think it is as close to being implimented as the KDE devs invision the DE as you are going to get.
That said it is also huge with 4 file managers and 3 web browsers. A clean install on 2 partitions gave me a / partition with more than 12 gigs in it.
Comes on a Live DVD.
I am not a fan of KDE. Don't like it in fact. Like to have on on the box to show folks because some folks really like it.
Anyone that does like KDE owes it to themselves to get the ISO, burn it and give it a look. Might give you some ideas on how you would like to configure things.
