Ubuntu studio 23.04 slow go make some coffee and come back booting
this is like windows boot, maybe windows is faster, I don't know I removed windows, but this just sits there with that little (windows) circle thing spinning around and around and around and around with the splash screen Ubuntu studio and takes a long time to boot up. I have no idea what it is doing because of the splash screen. Where most other distros just boot up, bam, login screen. like that fast. You don't even have time to get a coffee.
what to do to make it faster?

I assume Guttorm's advice will get you there. Possible that some issue with finding resources like drives or mounting too.

maybe something to do with a kernel bug
https://www.reddit.com/r/pop_os/comm...or_event_0x02/
changing my kernel
https://linux.how2shout.com/how-to-c...-04-20-04-lts/
changed to latest ver 6.3.7-060307-generic error persists downgraded to v6.0.17, rebooted, got stopped, journalctl -xl .. exit booted default or whatever that systemD (crap does) then get this when checking for what version kernel I have installed and loading.
Code:
<<$ uname -r
6.3.7-060307-generic
userx1@userx-ubuntustudio ~
<<$ sudo ubuntu-mainline-kernel.sh -i v6.0.17
Downloading index from kernel.ubuntu.com
It seems version v6.0.17 is already installed, continue? (y/N)
mix match now?
