I'm behind a firewall at work and I cannot add a PPA to my Ubuntu computer (it times out). I need to find out which port it uses so I can request this to be opened; any ideas?
Can you post which PPA? As I known all PPA works on web browsers port 80 and 443. So if you have web access at work, you can access to PPA too, without firewall configuration. It seems that this server was just dead when you tring to add it.
