ubuntu installation

Could u plz tell me what i should download ffor installing ubuntu?

I cant find many cds or a dvd version...

ubuntu comes on 1 cd only
the rest u get via synaptic ...

X86, power PC, AMD64?

u can go to and either order cds or download the iso image and burn them to disk
