Unhappy Ubuntu C libraries documentation not found

Hiiz...
I have just installed ubuntu
Iam a C programmer, so i installed the "build-essintial" package. The required compilers are installed successfully

but all the man pages of the libraries are not found
Ex:
$ man qsort <not found>
$ man stdio.h <not found>
$ man sys/types.h <not found>

I searched the Debian database, I found glibc-doc package
I installed it, but also the man pages are not found
I dunno how Debian guys make a package of gcc without documentation !!

anyhelp plzz, thnx in advance....

Edit: I have found it all in the linux documentation project (www.tldp.org) as a tar ball
typed $ cd <source dir>; sudo make all
and all the man pages are installed !!
