I would start with the apache site.

Don't use the site referred to above. Ubuntu uses Apache 2.2 now and that tutorial is for Apache 1.x.

There are lots of tutorials on the Internet:

if you are only running one site the quickest way will be to apt-get install apache2 and then put your web files into /var/www/ and there you go. Setup DNS if you would like or you can navigate straight to your IP.

If you want to host multiple domains, then you will need to read up on how to create the files in /etc/apache2/sites-available or htaccess
you can just edit 000-default and copy and paste what is in there over and over and just change the domain and file locations.

Again, for the single site method you can also edit that file anc change the location from /var/www/ to what ever you want (etc /home/you/public_html/
