Amongst other distros, I am running Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS.
Up until today I was under the impression that Ubuntu 14.04 was supported until 2019.
Not necessarily so, if you care to look at the End of Life dates here and read the small print:

For 14.04.1, 2019 is correct, but not for 14.04.2 and 14.04.3 (August 2016) thanks to Hardware Enablement (HWE):

It is probably nothing to get too excited about, but you will notice that the parallel Linux Mint editions are
not affected.
