trying to share internet ubuntu 9.10
Ello.
So after hours and hours on google and ubuntuforums.com, I have reached the point of where I am so close to give up -.-
I am trying to share internet on my computer ( running ubuntu 9.10 )
Internet source is eth0 ( eth0 in my case ) and I am trying to get it to be shared with wireless ( my case wlan0 )
I have tried many many things. At once point I got it set up so that I got an ad-hoc network up, but I could not connect with my labtob ( running XP at the moment, but as soon as I get shared internet trough my wireless I am going ubuntu on that on to )
I have even tried to get dhcp3-server up and running, and in all my confusion I have goten 2 dhcp3-servers up and runnning :s I CANT KILL ANYONE OF EM >.<
Pardon my outburst.
I found many many "howto`s" on google how to set this up, but out of all I found they tell of ways that do not work for ubuntu 9.10 ( at least they did not for me )
Example: one "tutorial" that told me to use ipmasq O.o and later i found out that ipmasq dont work in ubuntu 9.10...
