troubleshooting modem problems
Hi
I'm trying to get an dial up external modem working under 5.04. but when I try to connect it displays the progress bar but only for a split second and doesn't try to connect.
I've had this setup running before but I set the computer up for broadband (shared over ethernet) and it hasn't worked since. also in the dial up properties page it is autodetecting the modem.
At this stage I'd like some hints on how to troubleshoot this problem.
