Trouble adding some icons to dock
I just did a clean install of Ubuntu 11.04. Not really sure how I feel about the new Unity UI but I figure that I will give it a real chance and see how it goes.
One issue that I'm having is that some launchers with not install on the dock. DigiKam is one of them. I do a search for the program and drag its icon to the dock but when I release it, it just vanishes and there is nothing on the dock. If I do the same thing with Firefox, that works. Neither Amarok nor Konqueror will stay on the dock either, is it a KDE/Gnome issue?

OK, that did work. I opened the application, and then the icon appeared in the dock and I pinned it there. Now it's staying. I'm just not able to drag it there like I can other applications. The process should really be the same for all applications, having it work one way for some and needing to do it another way for others in not very intuitive, but at least I can get it there now.
