the system is hung reading the hard disk

By twice with Edgy Eft and once until now with Feisty Fawn the computer has remained hung reading the hard disk, having to turn off the equipment after not leaving the lethargy in 15-20 minutes. At the outset it thought that it was by aMule when it downloads a great file totally and it moves it. But no.

To somebody happens to him more the same?

No, I only have a reboot problem. Sometimes I just get a black screen and sometimes it works.
I get the same result even when I do "End session".

Your problem might be a hardware issue or driver.

He's strange because only happens after a long time, is not a problem that happens with a regularity or certain use.

I would check for heat problems.

Also, you might want to run memtest 86+ (its a boot time grub option - on 7.04).

There's also a good disk diagnostic you might want to try, called mhdd. Just google mhdd download. It can scan your hard drive looking for bad spots, and even fix them sometimes. But be careful, this is a low level disk access program that you burn to a cd and boot.

The laptop reaches high temperatures since the refrigerator paste must be burned. The ventilator is put to top but the problem I didn't have it with Windows. I discard it.

I tried to install xsensors on 6.10 and 7.04 versions but didn't get to work of any way.

Thanks for help, I tried the mhdd.
