Taking screenshots without cursor


I noticed that in screenshots the mouse cursor is included by default, but now I want to take some screenshots without it, how can I do that?

Install Shutter, it's a very good and versatile screen capture program. It should be available via The Software Centre or Synaptic Package Manager.

Gnome's gnome-screenshot also has this functionality.
