I as trying to save a file in gimp under .svg extension. but it showed an error. So is there any plughin for Gimp that can ecport the files in vector graphic or svg formate
I think you do need 'Inkscape' to amend and create .svg files. However, you can copy and paste images between 'Gimp' and 'Inkscape' easily enough. I have created a few program icons like that, also have used the images as templates to 'draw' around them in inkscape.
