My laptop is stuck on printing 6 pages per sheet...I've checked everything I can and even uninstalled and reinstalled Libre office to no avail...my printer is an HP Envy 4500

So, just to clarify, this unwanted behaviour only pertains to LO? If so, check the following: File > Print > Page Layout > 'Pages per sheet', and adjust accordingly.

FWIW, I understand user print-related settings are located in ~/.config/libreoffice/3/user/psprint/psprint.conf, so you could also check for the existence of that file and edit manually if necessary.

Yeah, that's the first thing I checked...I never changed the values in "Pages per Sheet" before this issue but after changing a print cartridge it some how switched to 6 pages per sheet so I switched it back and it still prints incorrectly...as for it only doing it in LO that's the only word processing program I use when printing so I guess the answer to the question is "I don't know".

Does the psprint.conf file exist? If so, try renaming it to something like psprint.old, then restart LO and check behaviour again.

What happens if you use the print test page under settings-printer?
