OpenOffice hung up in Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS

Hello,
Yesterday, following your instructions, I managed to install Java, uninstall Libre, and install OpenOffice. The last worked fine yesterday, but not today. It worked slowly and hung up. I tried to restart, tried
<sudo apt-get update> -- to no avail.
Yesterday (as always) before a shut-down, I cleaned up PC with BleachBit.
Could that make any damage?
Would be much obliged for your help.
Igor

Hi Igor, and welcome to LQ.

Which instructions were those? A link would be useful.

Yes, if you "overdo" BleachBit then you can cause damage to a system. Do you run Bleachbit as a user or as root?

Also, run OpenOffice from the terminal, work on it until it hangs, and paste the output from the terminal here within CODE tags (see https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...g.php?b=36313;).

Hi again,
It seems OpenOffice doesn't belong in Ubuntu. LibreOffice (6.0 in particular) does the job quite well, being even quicker.
However, it takes time to get used to Libre.
