NO desktop/NO Unity/No nothing

Just did a update-and now nothing works- ubuntu just shows a wallpaper the only thing that works is ctrl.alt.f1 said like 5 errors one being compize nothing i tried works.. i even tried installing a different environment via there nothing works what the heck

What were the errors? You need specifics if you want help for a specific problem. Is this Ubuntu 14.04?

yes ubuntu 14.04 not sure all errors they came up so fast and now not showing them i know one error was compiz... i did
dconf reset -f /org/compiz
setsid unity

and says unity does not support my hardware which is odd because it was working just fine before i reset after update
