Need help rewriting Ubuntu 6.06

I have been working on rewriting a Ubuntu 6.06 iso in command line. I have been able to remove packages from my iso, but don't know how to add them. Help would be greatly appreciated.

My thread (read the whole thing for background-recent problem on second page)
