Smile MYSQL: MySQL is not running on your system - database list could not be retrieved.

Good Morning,

I'm having some issues with MYSQL which is on VirtualMin that's running on Unbuntu. I'm getting the error message below, despite my server being online and working for months, this appeared randomly.

ERROR:
MySQL is not running on your system - database list could not be retrieved.

I have already attempted to change the permissions on the Logs as advised and also rename the old logs as if they were corrupt could cause issues.

Please could you advise on how to correct this as my server needs to be back online as soon as possible.

Kind Regards,
Shaun Swales

Are you sure the service is running?
