Mount NTFS volume


Ubuntu 6.06, loaded from cdrom.
How to gain access to NTFS -WinXP- hard disk volume?

I want to copy some files on there into a USB memory.

Just mount it...
go to terminal... type 'mount /dev/hd**' without the quotes and replace the stars with your hard disk partition (hard disk one partition one goes like hda0)
