Modprobe fatal error on Boot

Hello,

since the recent upgrade to Maverik every time I boot this error message appear on the top of the screen:

"modprobe: Fatal: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.35-22-generic/modules.dep: no such file or directory"

After that plymouth starts without any graphics and the first visible object is the login interface (GDM)

every suggestion will be appreciated

Alex

Boot the machine, log in and run 'sudo /sbin/depmod -ae' in a terminal window. This will create the module dependency listings for the kernel you run and on next boot that message should be gone.
