localhost spamd[2195]: dns: sendto() to [127.0.0.1]:53 failed:

Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS, Gnome 3.12.7, The complete notation in my syslog is:

localhost spamd[2195]: dns: sendto() to [127.0.0.1]:53 failed:
Connection refused, no more alternatives
localhost spamd[2195]: dns: bad dns reply: Connection refused

This seems to happen every time a new kernel is installed such as today
when 3.13.0-39-generic was installed. When rebooting after the upgrade
this is in my syslog:

localhost NetworkManager[952]: <info> (eth0): DHCPv4 state changed
preinit -> bound
localhost NetworkManager[952]: <info> address 192.168.0.51
localhost NetworkManager[952]: <info> prefix 24 (255.255.255.0)
localhost NetworkManager[952]: <info> gateway 192.168.0.1
localhost NetworkManager[952]: <info> hostname 'localhost'
localhost NetworkManager[952]: <info> nameserver '192.168.0.1'
localhost NetworkManager[952]: <info> nameserver '205.171.2.226'
localhost NetworkManager[952]: <info> domain name 'PK5001Z'

These are the same as always shown. In /run/resolvconf/interface the
file NetworkManger shows:

domain PK5001Z
search PK5001Z
nameserver 127.0.1.1

As I said earlier, this seems to always happen when the kernel is
updated and seems to last for a day or so then fixes itself. I posted this in 'General' since it references spamd so if this is the wrong place I'll be more than happy to move it.

Chris
