Hello,

LFS has a great website: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/. From that website you can download the LFS book which is the most adequate guideline for starting with LFS. One thing though, post LFS related stuff in the LFS forum, not in Ubuntu please :-)

Kind regards,

Eric

Hi,

This should indeed be posted in the LFS sub-forum....

If you are planning to use Ubuntu as your host, make sure you make it compliant (vii. Host System Requirements).

Tip: If at all possible use the LFS liveCD as host.

Hope this helps.
