kdm: can't customize it with usual KDE tool

I've been scratching my head on this for days, now.

How come whenever I customize the Login box using the Login tool in KDE, none of the changes show up? Well, actually the wallpaper that I chose briefly shows up after login in.

If you are using the themed version of KDM (which I think you are if you are running Kubuntu), then you will need to install a package called kdmtheme. You can get more themes from kde-look.

Is that what's going on? No wonder!

I kept making minor changes in Login Manager then login out and nothing. Doh!
